Habit or insanity? Take a vote!

Do you think that a habit of repetitive counting things, which are irrelevant things, (such as the passengers in the jeep, the ,branches in the tree, the tiles in the CR, everything in the face of a person you're talking with, the edges of a frame, and other irrelevant stuffs), a mental disorder?
     
I have this very unsual habit of counting things...things which are irrelevant and should not be bothered to be counted...

like what? oh..

edges of a frame (take note, a frame only has four edges)
tiles of the floor of our CR (when I'm doing my poop thing)
the passengers in the jeep I'm riding
the passengers in the jeep next to the jeep I'm riding
the letters of the logo of St. Paul's QC (whenever the jeep stops there)
everything in the face of the person I'm looking at (even the pimples and the moles)
my fingers and toes
the fingers and toes of my mom (when she's asleep and i'm still awake)
the branches of the tree I'm looking at
the figures i see in a door knob
everything in the face of my CI (while I'm doing my drug ana)
the grills of a store
the edges of the window of the room i'm in
the colors of i see in a tripen
and more more more....


the worst is, i don't just count once.... i count them until i'm tired...

it goes like... 1-2-3-4...1-2-3-4...1-2-3-4...1-2-3-4...1-2-3-4...1-2-3-4...1-2-3-4... and more of the 1-2-3-4 in my mind until i get tired of counting...


My groupmates were kidding me that i have a mental disorder, but I have been doing that for almost 8 months already.... I said it was just my habit but my psych patient from a ward has also the same habit... OMG!

Am I insane?
or is this just a habit?
